The finca is located between La Laguna/Los Llanos near Cruz Chica. The property has a unique location, with views of the Atlantic and the mountains, all the way to Los Llanos, the secret capital of the island. The altitude is only about 400 m above sea level and is therefore in an ideal climate zone, it is never too cold in winter and never too hot in summer. The finca has 5 rooms, a large conservatory which can also be used as a living room and a bedroom which has been converted into a conservatory. This room is therefore bright and friendly and has a nice atmosphere with a lot of views into the garden. The living area is about 160 m2. In the bedrooms there are ventilated built-in cupboards and spacious wall cupboards. The finca has large windows for unobstructed views, some double glazed with insulating glass. – A large and high living room with fireplace heating, another bedroom with air conditioning provides cooling and heating as well as a gas stove ensure a pleasant indoor climate at all times.
Several landscaped outdoor areas with sufficient shading are available for a pleasant stay outside at any time. A roof terrace of approx. 70 m2, covered with pressure-impregnated wood, partly roofed and with electricity, offers a spectacular panoramic view, also of the cloud fall at the cumbre nueva. The magnificent sunsets and the equally impressive starry sky on La Palma can be enjoyed from various locations. On the west side there is also a pond measuring 8 x 4 m, two thirds planted, one third as a swimming pond, without chemicals, with sunbathing areas and a platform above the planted part.
The adjoining rooms also correspond to the generous character of the property. A studio and a storage room that always stays pleasantly cool, as well as two covered containers for gardening tools and the like (with daylight, one with electricity) and a storage room for the washing machine. There is also a protected parking space for the car.
The finca was originally built in the 1990s. Later it was totally renovated and extended by a renowned Swiss architect. The current owners have also renovated it. –
The plot measures around 6700 m2. It is very well maintained, developed everywhere with a network of paths and divided into areas with different planting. An elaborately designed fully automatic irrigation system is installed. The house and grounds have both (rented) gallery water and city water – an advantage not to be underestimated. Two irrigation tanks of approx. 40’000 litres each provide a more than sufficient reserve.
